Aileen Ross

Aileen is a fully qualified and insured Sports Therapist and a member of  The Society of Sports Therapists and The British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT).

She always had a passion for sport and eventually decided to work in the sport rehabilitation field. She completed a foundation degree in Sports Therapy and subsequently graduated from Middlesex University with a first class honours degree in Sports Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention.

Her treatment and rehabilitation plans are individually tailored to each client and are regularly reviewed and updated as progress is made.

In 2005 Aileen qualified as a certified Pilates Mat work instructor in New York and has since been teaching classes as well as 1:1 Pilates in Surrey. She has a special interest in core stability, rehabilitation and postural re-education for those suffering from back problems and pain.

Furthermore, Aileen is an experienced sports and remedial massage practitioner. She applies specific soft tissue techniques, which are designed to help improve sports performance or aid recovery from training and competition as well as for general maintenance.

Having been involved in a wide variety of sports at both a competitive and recreational level since childhood, Aileen is well placed to have a wide understanding of the stresses and strains placed on the body by different sports.

Alongside her clinical work, Aileen also works for Oxted Hockey Club, Oxted & Limpsfield Cricket Club and Kent Exiles American Football Club.
