Pregnancy Yoga

Halos Pregnancy Yoga is an opportunity to meet other mums-to-be as you enjoy pregnancy-friendly yoga postures, breathing and relaxation.  Pregnancy Yoga is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your body, breath and baby. Yoga gently and safely develops and maintains strength, stamina, stability and balance during pregnancy. It helps you to adapt to the changes in your body, ultimately aiding in preparing you for labour. Relaxation at the end of the class is a great way of letting go of tensions and for calming the nervous system.  This friendly 75 minute class is led by experienced yoga teacher, Angie Chapman.

Hatha Yoga

Relax, renew, and reconnect with 90 minutes of holistic yoga. With a sense of gentle playfulness, experienced yoga teacher, Angie Chapman, holds a compassionate space for your exploration of self.  She guides you to create the sense of wellbeing in your body and emotions using yoga postures, mindfulness, breathing, relaxation, 
meditation and yogic philosophy. Angie’s unique class draws from her 40 years of experience in yoga and her training in many styles of yoga which she weaves into a flowing class combining relaxation with strengthening, developing flexibility and balance.

Vinyasa Flow

Rosie teaches Vinyasa flow yoga which combines a series of yoga postures (asanas) in a steady flow of continuous movement using the breath. It helps to create a lovely meditative feeling  which brings a  sense of  peace  and  calm  while physically building strength, flexibility, balance and stamina. Each  class  ends  with  relaxation  (Savasana) to  incorporate  the  full  benefits of  the class into mind and body.  Both classes are friendly and non-intimidating. 
To adapt this style of yoga to different abilities and needs, she offers two classes:

Dynamic Flow Yoga

This  class is  suitable  for  people  with  a  reasonable  level of fitness. It  aims to  build strength, fitness, flexibility and body confidence alongside creating a lovely sense ofpeace and calm through the steady flow of movements guided by the breath.  

Gentle Movement Yoga ( Pain Mangament & Relaxation)

This is a much  slower-paced  class  designed to  help  people experiencing  chronic pain, recovering from injuries or needing an easy and relaxing class.  It incorporates  a  lot of  breathing  relaxation and gentle  postures in  a  slow  relaxing flow. It works  well to  balance the hectic  lifestyles we often lead nowadays. If you haven't practiced yoga before, orif you have an injury, then this class willbe perfect for you. Both classes are booked through the teacher, please call the clinic with your details and Rosie will call you to discuss your needs and advise you which class to take.
