Aileen Ross

Bsc (Hons), BASRaT-reg GSR

Aileen is a Graduate Sports and Rehabilitation Therapist (specialising in musculoskeletal rehab (MSK)) and a clinical Pilates teacher.

Aileen works with all MSK injuries, chronic pain, pre and post surgery, scoliosis, hypermobility and arthritis, pre and post natal to name just a few. She has a passion for helping people manage their injuries and improve their quality of life by following a healthier lifestyle, meeting their fitness and rehabilitation goals and preventing future injury.

Her sessions are designed around providing a bespoke, evidence based, practice, combining testing, biomechanical assessment and exercise prescription, including high quality home exercises to supplement treatment.

As an experienced Pilates teacher, Aileen teaches both group and 1-1 Reformer Pilates. Reformer Pilates sessions incorporate stretching, loading, balance and corrective components without putting too much load on weight bearing joints.

Having endured her share of injuries and having undergone knee surgery, Aileen is acutely aware of the physical and mental impact of injuries and setbacks on quality of life and training goals.  She is knowledgeable about modifying exercise programmes to assist in rehabilitation whilst still supporting a patient’s journey towards their health and fitness goals.

In her free time, Aileen loves to spend time with her family and friends walking, cycling, playing tennis, paddleboarding and practicing yoga.
