Catherine trained in Massage Therapy in 2005 at Raworth college, gaining diplomas in Swedish, Holistic and Pregnancy Massage. She went on to qualify in Warm Bamboo Massage in 2019. To further enhance her massage skills, she also qualified in Deep tissue massage.

Catherine advocates a holistic approach to her patients and holds a space towards healing and wellbeing. She takes into account the whole person, not just the physical body but the emotional state and well-being, therefore each massage is individually tailored to how you are feeling at that particular time, not just focusing on the problem areas.

With a background knowledge of Aromatherapy oils, Catherine incorporates the use of Neals yard remedies to suit your mood, physical state and preference. She has a vast range of Neals yard oils ranging from de-stressing, women’s balancing, warming ginger and juniper, calming, vitality, soothing, uplifting aromatic & arnica.

Catherine focuses on calming the mind before helping to alleviate the physical symptoms. Maintaining your well-being with a maintenance massage can help to address any underlying areas of muscle tightness before they become more serious.

Prior to Halos, Catherine worked at a yoga studio in Cobham and Weybridge and also spent ten years working as a teacher in Chicago.
